I am a Columbia University trained clinical psychologist. I enjoy the challenge of working with complex psychological issues as they present in individual people and in larger groups. My time is divided between private practice, advisory and human rights work.
In my private practice, I see adults, adolescents, and children, individually as well as in relationship to their families. I provide a thoughtful, well-studied approach to therapy, grounded in my intensive training in both evidence-based and psychodynamic models.
In my advisory and human rights work, I collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (medical, legal, policy) on the psychological needs of asylum seekers, refugees, survivors of trauma and at-risk children and families. I regularly conduct psychological evaluations and provide expert witness testimony for individuals seeking asylum in the United States.
