Therapeutic services

In my private practice, I provide therapy to adults, adolescents and children, individually and in relationship to their families. Patients work with me on depression, anxiety, and the effects of stress and trauma. I help people navigate life stressors, which can include:  relationship issues, parenthood, the postpartum period, professional turmoil, and changing family configurations.

At times, the developmental tasks of childhood, adolescence, and parenthood can feel overwhelming. I help my patients grow through these challenges. Examples include:

  • sleeping and feeding
  • developing family routines
  • regulating emotions and behavior
  • managing worries
  • adjusting to school, school refusal
  • developing friendships and negotiating the social world
  • maintaining attachment while becoming more independent
  • the complexities of adolescence
  • navigating family change

I am highly trained in the following modalities:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy
  • Evidence-Based Treatments of Trauma (TF-CBT, STAIR-NST)
  • Parent Coaching

I adopt a thoughtful and studied approach in choosing the therapeutic path that is best matched to each client.
