Supervision and Consultation

I am an experienced clinical supervisor and consultant. Working at both an agency level and within my private practice, I regularly direct training seminars, consult on emergent issues, and supervise the clinical work of psychologists, social workers, and other mental health clinicians.

I thrive on the classroom format and enjoy thinking through psychological and developmental issues as they play out in an educational setting.  Prior to pursuing psychology, I was an elementary school teacher for two years and earned a Master’s in Applied Child Development. Throughout my career, I have actively engaged with the schools and health practitioners that serve my local community.

As in the other domains of my work, I bring a well-researched perspective on theory and best practices into the hands of practitioners.  I believe this approach fosters confidence and a feeling of empowerment, and increases clinical effectiveness.
